Emerging Asian Market for Outdoor Products

Asia Outdoor Trade Show opened on 28th, July in Nanjing International Exhibition Center. It was first organized in 2005 by CCPIT, Nanjing Municipal Government and Messe Friedrichshafen . With the expansion of outdoor products market, the scale of this trade show enlarges. More and more brands attend this trade show. Now, it is the biggest outdoor products trade show in Asia.

According to the market survey, the sale of outdoor products enjoyed a growth of 30% from 2006 to 2009. In 2006, the sale of outdoor products was only 1.5 billion Yuan and it increased to 5 billion in 2009.

The exhibition area of this trade show reaches 30,000 square meters with 321 exhibiting brands home and abroad. Since this trade show enjoyed a 15% growth both in exhibition area and exhibiting brands from start, it is expected to  become an exhibition as EU outdoor trade show in future.


The theme of this trade fair is "environmental protection and low carbon". There are many activities at this trade show except display of products such as outdoor industry forum and design contest.
