At the night of May27, the ninth press release of 2009 China Guangzhou Graduate Fashion Week --2009 Textile &Garment Insitute of Guangzhou University Garment Design Graduate Works Show was taken place on schedule at Guangzhou International Textile City. They displayed 35 series collection works

The speciality of " garment design and art" of Textile &Garment Insitute of Guangzhou University is named "national pivot demonstration speciality". The fabrics of 26-35 series works was sponsored by Guangzhou Yangqian Textile Co.ltd, which is the national women's Knitwear fabrics R&D base and China Women's wear fabrics hue R&D base.

Every school,which participated the Graduate Fashion Week, had held a contest to choose the best works to take part in the Fashion Week. These students have the qualification to take part in the final contest of the Fashion Week. Here is the contestants list from the Institute:
