Recently, Jiujiang city administration, announced that it had decided to set up a chemical textile manufacturing base covering over 1.80 million square meters in one of the industrial parks of the city. Currently, Jiujiang city, located in Jiangxi Province, is home to six big industrial parks.

Reportedly, this new project will aim at enlarging the output value of local chemical fibre and textiles, developing new dyeing and printing technology, as well as promoting non-weaving cloth industry.

This base will focus on three major products, namely viscose short fibre, chemical fibre, and non-weaving cloth. This will form a complete chemical fibre and textile industry, and finally setting up a new national-level chemical fibre and textile industrial base.

According to current Chinese policy, the construction of this base must conform to the energy-saving and environmental protection requirements.
