  In order to accelerate Shanghai to be an international fashion capital, to promote publicity work of Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival and Shanghai Fashion Week, and also to promote cultural development and prosperity, Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival-Journalism Awards Competition was launched by Shanghai Association of Journalists, the organizing committee of Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival, Shanghai Textile Holding (Group) Corporation, Shanghai International Clothing & Accessories Center, and "World Fashion Dynamic" magazine (WFD). According to Shanghai Journalists Association’s evaluation, the results were as follows:
Jiefang Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Textile News, Shanghai Fashion etc. separately got Print Media First, Second, the Third; Dragon TV, Guangdong TV, Guangxi TV etc. won radio and television media awards; Jiefang Daily, Xinmin Evening News, Fashion Times etc. won awards of outstanding photography; Jiefang Daily, Xinmin Evening News, Xinhua News Agency, east China branch of People's Daily etc. got outstanding news organization awards.
We China Apparel Network won second prize of Internet Media in the competition, which is the highest award of Internet Media group.
